Let your mouse walk the house with our 3D tour https://bit.ly/613OlesmontTour

The first thing that attracted us to to this home was its location and the size  What we love about our house is that it is so private. We really love the back yard for that reason. It’s a great Place to hang out with friends and family and BBQ or have a campfire and roast marshmallows. The hot tub at night is the perfect way to unwind. Great all seasons, but especially in the winter.

We love the sunroom and use it through all the seasons. The downstairs is also a favorite place of ours. The pool table and open area makes it great for watching tv or playing games,

Our master bathroom is fabulous retreat place.

Other fun things that I like is that it is a quick walk to Catonsville attractions.” “New roof,

Windows replaced

Added a deck which was renovated to a sunroom 10 years later,

Added a patio which was renovated into a beautiful deck and walkway and added a hot tub,

Garage was renovated into a family room with a fireplace and a back room storage area,

kitchen renovated when we first moved in, master bathroom renovated,

bedroom renovated Into an office

sheds added over time,

lots of garden renovations over the years” ”

We have some neighborhood parties. It’s a great place to walk a dog and meet a lot of neighbors. As the weather gets nicer more people head outside for casual get togethers and chats.

Some of the things we love about living in Catonsville is that we are so conveniently located to so many things. It’s fun to walk to the Catonsville parade and you can even walk to the Catonsville fire works, There are so many fun restaurants and fun little shops in Catonsville that we go to a lot because things are very family oriented there. It’s also a really easy jump to go down to Ellicott city or Baltimore

Our favorite restaurant is Franco’s and Taneytown Deli. We actually use a couple different grocery stores. My favorite one is the giant that’s located on Wilkins Avenue. They just seem to carry a lot of diverse items there and we love teas  so they carry lots of different kinds of teas there. We also shop at Safeway on route 40. It’s an easy jump to go to Columbia for a Whole Foods.

We moved to This home because it’s an easy walk to attend all the fun things that happen in Catonsville. Food trucks will be starting to come to the parking lot of Hope Church which is right around the corner from our house. It’s an easy walk to Frederick road and access to all the restaurants and fun festivals and activities. You can easily walk to the fireworks at Catonsville High School.

Catonsville Elementary is a great school and wax recently renovated

Let your mouse walk the house with our 3D tour https://bit.ly/CharLilTour

Tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac, across from Font Hill Park, in the incredibly desirable Centennial School district, this spacious Colonial home will check all the boxes. Starting with the outside- a generous .42 of an acre, covered front porch. fenced back yard, walk out basement, huge deck, patio, raised beds and backing to nature for ultimate privacy. Solar panels on the roof convey with the property (no lease). Come inside, it's lovely. Tastefully updated, 3 full levels of living, beautiful hardwood floors, reconfigured kitchen, cozy family room, fully finished basement with a bar and movie space. 4 Bedrooms up and 1 down.

When we moved to Maryland, we had a specific area that we wanted to live in. We were thrilled when we found our home at 3504 Char Lil Court, we thought it was perfect in terms of curb appeal, size, and location in an excellent school district.

Our home has great spaces that work for our family. Stepping into the 2-level foyer sets the tone of the rest of the house. We have plenty of room for all our activities without bumping into each other. The kitchen is the heart of the house and is wonderful for entertaining. The additional storage in the room is something we will miss- it has been easy feeding large parties with that extra counter space. All of our special dishes and glassware was conveniently stored there too. The table that is attached to the kitchen counter is a wonderful addition to the kitchen.

Having 4 bedrooms upstairs and additional one in the lower level has been very convenient. One of our favorite rooms in the house is the Primary bathroom. The huge shower is a wonderful experience.

We didn’t realize how much we enjoyed having a basement until we had one. It’s a great area to enjoy movies, games and holidays. The bar will convey with the house. Being a full walk-out basement is wonderful. The huge deck has been a place that we spend quite a lot of time on in warmer months. Tons of room for a table and chairs and we can enjoy the view of the trees and our generous, private yard. We added a fence and it’s been great having a vegetable garden.

We purchased and installed solar panels. There is no lease and the new buyer gets to enjoy the energy savings right away. It’s a 5w system with 16 panels.

Our utility costs are very reasonable because we have solar panels that cover most of the electricity that we use. Some months we even produce more electricity than we use, so it is applied to future months. Gas is for heating and cooking, so it varies by month. The average water bill is about $30-40/month. We use BGE for electric/gas, and Howard County provides sewer/water services.

On our street, the neighbors are friendly and respectful, and we have a nice tradition of going door to door leaving treats for each other during the holiday season.

Some of the things we love about living in Ellicott City are the diverse community and excellent schools. It is a very safe place, with easy accessibility to work.

Some of our favorite restaurants in the area are Asian Court and Tous Les Jous Bakery.    The grocery stores we use are Harris Teeter, Safeway, Sprouts, and H-mart, depending on what we are looking for.

We moved to Howard County because of the excellent school system and easy accessibility to both Baltimore and Washington D.C.  In Ellicott City, there are excellent public schools, a great library, and nice parks.       ous Colonial home will check all the boxes. Starting with the outside- a generous .42 of an acre, covered front porch. fenced back yard, walk out basement, huge deck, patio, raised beds and backing to nature for ultimate privacy. Solar panels on the roof convey with the property (no lease). Come inside, it's lovely. Only the sellers can tell you about the house better than anyone.

As the original owners of this lovely home, we are sad to say goodbye. Wonderful memories of great holidays, snowstorms, Birthday parties, playing tag and walking to the school bus will be what we take with us from our youth.  We had the best backyard next to the stream and woods and played outdoors everyday winter, summer, spring and fall. Nothing better than sitting on the back porch listening to the birds.  Our huge garden that we would dig and harvest tomatoes and beans and onions is always bathed in sunshine.  Neighbors would always come over to visit and join in the fun. We were always glad to have 2 bathrooms and the huge basement was great to play in. From the front porch we could watch the world go by. The kitchen was comfortable and we even had a table in there too.

Our family kept up with what needed to be addressed- New roof, new electrical panel, new furnace and central air, refinished floors, hot water heater all completed between 2018 and 2022.

This peaceful neighborhood is fantastic -young and older neighbors all so friendly and it continues to be the same 66 years later. Being at the bottom of the horseshoe meant very light traffic- our street is also lovely and wide too. Although we have a generous drive-way, there has never been a parking issue.  Dunmore has always had community picnics, Halloween parties and celebrations for the 4th of July.  Everyone is helpful, friendly, and fun to be around.  We have great side-walks and it is not uncommon for many home-owners to be taking a stroll or walking their dogs. The neighborhood has many families with young and older children a great mix!

The best thing about Catonsville is has a great small town vibe, great restaurants, nice events, farmers markets and such nice friendly people that live here. Not only can we walk to downtown Catonsville, but we have a fab area known as Paradise.  Many Great restaurants local in town many to choose from. Getting to Balt. and Washington DC.that offers museums, symphonys, and nite life is convenient. We are also lucky to send our kids to great schools. Our Elementary School (Catonsville) is only 5 years old and is equipped with state of the art facilities.

We hope the new home-owner enjoys and loves our home as much and as long as we did.

When we drove past our house for the first time, before deciding to tour it, we fell in love with the curb appeal. It was the cutest home we’d seen in our price range, with a nod to Cape Cod style architecture although it’s one level living, and we loved the fact that it was tucked between two trees in the front yard. When we eventually got to go inside, the late evening light warmed the house and I just had a feeling this house would be a cozy oasis as we grew our family.        It has truly been a privilege to live in this home. We love the soft morning and late afternoon sunlight that streams through the windows. The five trees on the property bring peaceful bird calls at various points throughout the day – we especially love seeing the cardinals that frequent our yard. When you have the windows open you truly feel like you are one with the outdoors (in a good way) as the breeze blows throughout the house. The backyard is an amazing retreat. We love entertaining on our deck, laying in the hammock or sitting around the fire pit. We enjoy fireflies and tent camping in the yard in the summer. It’s one of the biggest backyards in the neighborhood and the kids love running all around it with their friends. We have loved having radiator heat, as the house warms up quickly in the winter time and stays toasty easily. The solid wood doors on the bedrooms provide quiet and privacy, when needed. We spend most of our time in the living room – it’s a calm center for our family where we drink coffee in the morning, play games, watch movies, and read with the kids. We typically keep the front door open most of the day to allow us to enjoy the outdoor light through the storm door. We love having the chalkboard to write out to-do lists for the week and as a space for the kids to be creative. Having quick access to the kitchen from the dining area allows for easier meal times. We love having a back door off the kitchen to enter into our backyard. We love going out to the garden in the morning through this door and picking our harvest for the day in the summer. Wonderful sunsets in the backyard through the trees. Finally, the basement provides an amazing recreational space that can be turned into virtually anything – a home gym, an office, a second TV/playroom area, etc.

We can’t stress enough how amazing our neighborhood is. In Oakcrest, and particularly on Beaumont Ave, people are always stopping to say hello and chat. We help each other out when needed – sharing yard tools, bringing by meals, etc. It’s a great mix of young families and older adults. The Christmas Jeep parade has come down our street the past two years and we always get together with our friends on the street to walk down to the Catonsville July 4th Parade. Halloween is also a lot of fun in our neighborhood and there is an annual Easter egg hunt and spring yard sale/dumpster days that we take advantage of. The neighborhood has its own community Association that meets regularly and plans the events/organizes charity donations/helps with neighborhood clean up (like mulching paths or planting trees). Also an active neighborhood Facebook page! We rotate having weekend happy hours in our friends’ backyards and love doing morning or night walks with our kids throughout the entire neighborhood (there’s even a paved path back in the woods behind the neighborhood that’s fun to explore). We are in walking distance to the heart of Catonsville and always take advantage of walking whenever we can!

Some of the things we love about living in Catonsville are the annual 4th of July celebration, the weekly farmer’s market from May-November, the friendly people, the proximity to Patapsco State Park, having TWO snowball stands (Opie’s and Tastee Zone), Rollingbrook Yoga, having our own library, and the fact that all of the business owners are very friendly and welcoming.                Some of our favorite restaurants in the area are Atwater’s, Cafe di Roma, Farmhouse Greens Burger & Sausage Co., Hunan Joy, Pho Pasteur and of course Opie’s Snowball Stand (which we walk or ride bikes down to on summer nights).                We use several grocery stores. We alternate between Safeway on Montgomery Rd., Sprouts on 40, and sometimes Giant on Rolling Rd. Wegman’s, Costco, and Trador Joe’s are all also only about a 20 min drive away which we have frequented often.        We moved to Catonsville for several reasons. We work at UMBC so it was a very easy commute to work. We also loved that it had a small town feel but was such an easy drive to Baltimore, Elliott City or Columbia. We loved that our house was walkable to Frederick Rd. And loved that people always seem to be out and about. Living right next to Patapsco was also a huge plus for us since we are an outdoorsy family.             In Catonsville, it’s really easy to walk/bike around. We love walking the neighborhood streets and some of the renovated trolly trails (like the one that goes from Frederick Ave down to Edmonson Ave). Also minutes away from the Trolley Trail In Westchester. Mentioned it briefly elsewhere but seriously the Farmer’s Market and living so close to Patapsco (with several hiking trail access points/Tire Park) are HUGE bonuses for us.

Electric and Gas are through BGE and Water is through the city. We pay about $28-35 every few months for water and $130/month for electric and gas.
