We built this home because we loved the area and being so close to Washington DC and the National Harbor.

Tysons’s corner and Andrews AFB are close by as well as many local shopping venues.

What we love about our home is having great schools and a community where we could raise our children. Our home has a lot of natural sunlight in the morning and evenings. Our neighborhood has a lot of roads to go for evening strolls.

UPDATES AND FEATURES

We recently replaced the floors on the main level, repainted all the walls and molding, and installed a new HVAC system. Our utilities costs are very reasonable. For Water we pay $110 quarterly, Gas is on average $75 per month (averaged over the course of the year). Electric costs about $125 in the summer months and around $65 the winter months.

GREAT COMMUNITY IN WALDORF

Some things we love in our community are the local Mall and other retail shopping within a few minutes’ drive. We are also close to I-95 which allows for quickly making our way on road trips and 30-45 minutes to Washington Dc and Tyson’s corner.

Tons of restaurants nearby! We like to eat at Cheddars’ , Texas Roadhouse, Chilies , Rucci’s, chick-fil-A.

We like to shop at a variety of groceries stores having close proximity to Giant, Mom’s and Aldi. We had a lot of opportunities due to federal jobs in Washington DC and Andrews Air Force Base being close by.

The schools are wonderful in this area. Berry elementary is outstanding, as are Mattawoman Middle and Westlake high school.
