In the village are numerous restaurants-Catonsville Gourmet for seafood, Sea Hut Inn for the best crabs ever, Franco’s for good Italian, Jennings for bar food, and of course, the nationally famous SugarBakers for pies, cakes, and goodies! We love the Asian grocery here for fresh fish, seafood and great produce and you cannot beat the selection at Trueths (it’s an experience in itself) The Breadery is close by too which is our go-to for fresh artisan bread.They recently expanded their offerings. We've been in Catonsville since our college days, many years ago. We came for school and stayed because it's a great place to raise kids and we loved the homes and strong feeling of community. It's safe and convenient and life has been easy to maneuver from here.           Catonsville is home to the Community College of Baltimore County at Catonsville. UMBC, very good public elementary, middle and high school, as well as Catholic grade schools and high schools.
