When we first saw our home, we loved its large rooms, hardwood floors and gorgeous yard!  The location is amazing – Jackson Pond has a playground, fishing and trails and is less than a 2 minute walk from us.

We have loved living in Long Reach, the neighborhood is very friendly with young families moving in for the great location and variety of home styles here.    Our kids loved growing up in Columbia and the schools are great.  Howard High School is a 5 star school!  We also love how easy it is to get onto main roads like 95 and 29 to get to work or places like Baltimore, Annapolis and Washington, DC.

FAVORITE RESTAURANTS & SHOPS

Some restaurants we like are Clyde’s at the Lakefront in Columbia, PF Chang’s for Chinese Food and we love Eggspections for brunch.

Columbia has a lot of grocery options!  We like to go to Wegman’s and Trader Joe’s which are both less than 5 minutes from our house.  Whole Foods recently opened near the Columbia Mall as well.

For shopping, the Columbia Mall has every store you can imagine from large department stores like Macy’s and Nordstrom’s to small boutiques that have been there for decades and everything in between.  There is always plenty of parking and the mall is just minutes from us. 

The mall has expanded in the past few years and hasa movie theatre and lots of dining options as well.
