HERE IS WHAT THE SELLERS HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THEIR HOME:
When we found our home at 27 Bryans Mill Way in Catonsville I was so excited to be surrounded by beautiful Banneker Park and Patapsco Park, which offer incredible views and tranquility. The ability to walk the Trolley Trail, just steps from our front door, down to Old Ellicott City was a huge attraction. Coffee shops and quaint shopping opportunities, not to mention music festivals and open-air movies are all walkable events from our house! Commuting to work was easy from this location too.
We love being surrounded by nature, yet located in a supremely convenient area, just minutes from both downtown Catonsville and downtown Ellicott City. We love watching the woodpeckers and deer from our deck and waking up to birdsong each morning. The view from the master bedroom of the mature shade trees that surround the property brings a feeling of peace. The several open fields have been fantastic for hosting parties and cook outs and for pick-up games with friends. The neighbors in Bryans Mill are amazing!

Bryans Mill is a great neighborhood!
In Bryans Mill we love to celebrate! From Halloween potlucks, Easter Egg Hunts, and neighborhood cookouts to simple get-togethers on Friday nights (dubbed “Firefly Fridays”) our community is welcoming and friendly. When we have a big snowfall, we all chip in and help each other shovel. We all look out for each other in this safe, tight-knit community.
There is a lot to love about living in Catonsville Maryland! Wonderful, friendly people live here. We have great schools, trails for walking, fantastic restaurants and lots of music and activities year-round. There are 2 fantastic pools to choose from. Catonsville’s favorite holiday, the 4th of July, is celebrated to the max here!
Some of my favorite restaurants in Catonsville are Peace of Pizza and Catonsville Gourmet. We are a short walk from Old Ellicott City where Tersiguels, The Rumor Mill and Pure Wine Cafe are my favorites.
The Grocery store we use is Giant and we love the weekly Catonsville Farmer’s Market and the Breadery for incredible handmade breads. Trader Joe’s and Target are in Columbia which is just the next town over. We moved to Baltimore County because of the great central location, the excellent schools, and the proximity to State Parks. Catonsville is the perfect place for everything we wanted!
Catonsville Schools are great!
All 3 local schools are excellent – our 2 children are at Westchester Elementary (a 10 rating on Greatschools.org) which has great staff and a very active PTA! We hear a lot of positive things about Catonsville Middle and Catonsville High School.
