Here are a few things the sellers love about their home.

When we found our home at 504 Hilton Ave in Catonsville we were attracted to the curb appeal; it was the perfect fixer-upper and we have enjoyed making it functional and beautiful. Another great quality is our amazing Catonsville neighborhood – full of kids, places to walk and great neighbors.

We love our kitchen!

It’s AMAZING and we couldn’t have asked for a better space!  Our kitchen is bright, airy, open and just gorgeous. We enjoy cooking and entertaining in the space. It’s great to be able to watch the kids playing outside while we’re prepping a meal or just doing the dishes. The entry space inclues storage and the ability to have a desk so we can Skype or Facetime with family while eating or playing.

We made tons of updates to the original kitchen by adding an eat in kitchen, Quartz (gorgeous) counter tops, all new stainless steel appliances, a stainless farm sink, garbage disposal, Kohler faucet and widened the original kitchen doorway to dining room.  Plus we put in Merillat white maple shaker cabinets with soft close feature, hidden garbage/recycle bins, 4 pantries, under cabinet lighting and recessed lighting in the ceiling.  Then we added  natural gas line for stove.  Did I mention how much we LOVE our kitchen?

As well, we love our front porch!!  We have enjoyed so many meals out there, watching life go by and parties with our neighbors. There is always a little bit of a breeze and the bugs just seem to stay away.

We love the character of our home and have kept as much of the original details as possible! The trim, doors, old door knobs, original dining room light fixture as well as a few other original lights within the home. The dark walnut floors just add to the depth and charm… we fall in love with it each day and we’ll miss it when we’re gone.

Our home is always bright and cheerful and full of sun even surrounded by the trees of “Oak Forest”.

WE LOVE CATONSVILLE

“We love our neighborhood. We can walk to the Tire Park, take leisurely bike rides throughout the expansive neighborhood and enjoy driveway parties with our neighbors. We’re just a short walk to Hillcrest Elementary School- one of the best schools in Catonsville, the library or even to grab an ice cream.

It’s an amazing place to live for the Catonsville Fourth of July festivities. We’re just one block of the staging area and enjoy walking through before taking our place along Frederick Road to enjoy the parade. “What we love about Catonsville is the community spirit. Every event is great to participate in from the arrival of Santa Claus to the Fourth of July parade. There is always something happening in our great little town and is often describe as “Mayberry” like. Some of our favorite restaurants are Catonsville Goumet for a nice dinner, Francos for woodfire pizza, and Chef Paolino’s for anything Italian. It’s so easy to get to old Ellicott City and we enjoy Portalli’s for a nice Italian dinner with outdoor seating, La Palapa for Mexican. Our all time favorite is the Pure Wine Cafe… excellent everything!  The grocery store we frequent is the Safeway in Ellicott City as it’s next to our daycare. However, it’s easy to run to Giant or even to Wegmans. So many options!

We moved to Catonsville for the community, schools and charm of the area. There is no place that has so much with so many conveniences! It’s great to run to the airport as we travel a lot for work and have many guests from out of town… just a quick 10 minute run! No cell phone lot for us!

GREAT SCHOOLS

In Catonsville the schools are great and very easy to get to; you can walk to both Hillcrest Elementary and Catonsville High School
