Let your mouse walk the house with our 3D tour https://bit.ly/744EdmondsonTour

Who better to tell you about this delightful home than the Sellers.

When we found our home at 744 Edmondson Ave. we loved the large yard with all of the mature trees, the charming front porch and curb appeal, and having plenty of off-street parking. We knew we wanted good schools, a walkable neighborhood, and plenty of room for a garden, and this house has been great! The house has tons of character inside as well, with original hardwood floors, black & white tile bathroom, and traditional floorplan. It has a lot of storage with a detached garage, attic, and basement too. What we love about our home is how bright and sunny it is in the morning, especially sitting on the front porch or back patio with coffee. We've enjoyed countless family dinners and game nights in our dining room, and our living room has been the place for the whole family to relax. And of course, we spend a lot of time in our private fenced yard hanging out and tending to our gardens. In the summer we get lots of fireflies in the trees behind the house, which is lovely to watch and entertaining for the kids, and in the winter we can walk to Banneker Community Center for sledding. We renovated our kitchen in 2019 by opening it up to the dining room and adding new cabinets and quartz countertops, which has been great for entertaining. Over the years we have maintained the slate roof, had the house repainted, added a partially-finished office/den in the basement, and have made several upgrades including replacing the central air conditioning. We also added landscaping outside with lots of native plantings and large raised beds for vegetable gardening and several types of berries.

In Catonsville our neighborhood is great for its small-town feeling, get-togethers with friends, and all of the amazing food and festivals. Edmondson Avenue has a dedicated bike lane so biking is very convenient, and we often walk or bike with our kids and dog for fun and exercise.

Some of the things we love about living in Catonsville are being able to walk to so many great shops and restaurants, live music within walking distance, and the Fourth of July parade (which we never miss!).

Our favorite restaurants are Catonsville Gourmet, Atwaters, Wielands BBQ, Farmhouse Greens, Sam's Bagels, Indian Delight, Peace A Pizza, El Agave, and of course, Opie's!          The grocery stores we use are Aldi and Lidl (Catonsville is lucky to have both!), the farmers market when in season and the Catonsville Co-op, Scittinos deli and Treuth's for meats, and the Breadery for baked goods.   We moved to Catonsville because it is so convenient for commuting to work in Baltimore and for traveling via BWI, but also close to natural areas like Patapsco State Park. It's the best of both worlds!       We love being close to Hillcrest Elementary, St. Mark Church/School, and the Catonsville Library. Everything we need is right in town, even our family doctor and pharmacy.
