In Westview Park, our neighborhood has the large Western Hills Community Park which is right down the street from us! The 2 playgrounds there are a delight.  We also enjoyed using the bike lanes which you can access on Crosby Road and takes you to Leakin Park and the Gwynns Falls Trail which can take you all the way downtown Baltimore and into Federal Hill!  One of our favorite activities is to take the bike trail to downtown Baltimore to get brunch on Sundays – a hidden gem that not many know about!

Some of the things we love about living in Catonsville, is going downtown and visiting the farmers market on the weekends and dining at some of the great local restaurants.  We loved all the fun actives that Catonsville has to offer like food truck festivals and parades. We also love how close we are to historic downtown Elicott City which also regularly puts on events like live music and festivals. Some of our favorite restaurants around the area are Pit Beef (some say the best in the entire area!), Pho Saigon (amazing pho!), Atwater's for coffee, Wieland's BBQ, and Catonsville Gourmet.     

The grocery stores we use are Weis Market and Giant.  Weis is super close and within walking distance and is affordable with a good selection.            

We moved to Catonsville because of it's central location between both of our work locations and it's easy access to do a lot of great things in the area.  We also really liked how close we are to Patapsco State Park and other outdoor activities.  

Lot's of great shopping in downtown Catonsville and Ellicott City. We are only 6 mins away from Woodlawn's Baltimore County Library which has Storyville which is a learning and amusement center for small children.
