4 BEDROOMS | 3 full, 1 half baths BATHROOMS | 0.16 SqFt

A rare Catonsville find at a very attractive price point in a perfect location. Only 14 years young, this stately stone front home offers a full range of upgrades offered by the original builder, K. Hovnanian. Tucked away on a private cul-de-sac, it is an easy walk to downtown Catonsville. The “Annapolis” model boasts 4 Bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and TWO OFFICES on the main level – get creative and they can also be a playroom, music room or yoga space. Step in to soaring ceilings, spacious open living with elegant columns and enhanced by rich hardwood floors. A chefs dream with a perfectly appointed gourmet kitchen features a gas range and double ovens that overlooks the family room. 3 FULL bathrooms upstairs and a bedroom level laundry. Basement is ready for your finishing touches. A perfectly manageable yard with a 2 car detached garage complete the picture. New rear deck and 1 new HVAC system.

Listen to the music on the weekends and watch the fireworks without the hassle of finding parking on July 4th and New Years Eve. Hillcrest/Catonsville Middle/Catonsville HS school district too. Your teen can sleep in and still get to school on time.

When we found our home at 310 Reserve Ct, we were pleased to find a home that exceeded our “empty nester” housing requirements and provided a reasonable commute to the DC area using the Marc. The architectural features of the house, quiet neighborhood and convenient access to shopping and the cultural amenities of the Baltimore/Washington corridor are unparalleled. What we love about our home is the natural light that floods the house in the morning, the two bonus rooms on the main level that we use as offices and hobby rooms, and an exceedingly versatile floor plan with plenty of space.

The 9 foot ceilings on the first and second floor and in the basement add a spacious, airy feel to the house. The afternoon and evening light in the kitchen and great room provide a relaxing feel at the end of the day. Our small garden in the yard provides a pleasant seasonal rhythm to our lives: strawberries and raspberries in the late spring, herbs and heirloom tomatoes in the late summer. To top it all off, we have been blessed with genuinely wonderful neighbors. Recent upgrades and renovations include a new high efficiency main level furnace, composite deck, new front door with side panels and new double-back patio doors, herb garden and berry patch, new side-by-side Whirlpool refrigerator, and newer washer and dryer. Our utility service provider is BGE and our energy usage is routinely rated as “Great” compared to our energy efficient neighbors.

In Catonsville, our Hillcrest Reserve neighborhood is a diverse community composed of young children, young families, teens, millenials, and even some of us older folks. Everyone helps each other when needed. We are walking distance to Lurman Woods where there are summer musical performances many weekends. Our polling place is conveniently located in Catonsville High School. We enjoyed various educational programs at both libraries that were available prior to Covid. Hopefully these offerings will resume shortly. Some of the things we love about living in Catonsville are the 4th of July parade and totally fabulous fireworks at nearby Catonsville High School (largest fireworks in Maryland). The Sunday Farmers Market in downtown Catonsville and Baltimore Herb Festival are so much fun. The BSO is a regional treasure and is so accessible. There is a marvelous sense of community, excellent restaurants catering to all tastes, multiple shopping opportunities, and small town ambiance in a large Metro area. Our favorite restaurants here are Indian Delight, Catonsville Gourmet, Atwaters, and Dusenbergs. We do not eat out frequently, so there are many restaurants in “the Ville” that we have yet to try. The grocery stores we regularly use are Safeway, Giant, and Aldi which are all nearby. A special treat is going to Wegmann's and Lottes for a wide selection of fresh produce, specialty foods and spices. We moved to Catonsville in 2007 because it was (by a longshot) the very best value in housing in the Baltimore/Washington corridor. My husband was working in DC and the MARC was 7 minutes away in the morning and a 15 minute drive home in the afternoon. The BWI stop on Amtrak is 10 minutes from the house and BWI is a 12 minute drive. Guests are super easy to pick up from the BWI Amtrak station or airport. Interstate access is easy. The Catonsville schools are very highly rated, particularly Hillcrest Elementary School. The Baltimore County Library System has branches in Catonsville and Arbutus. Both libraries are well stocked, comfortable, and only a short drive from the house.
