When we found our home at 239 Ridgeway Road in the heart of Catonsville, we loved the location and the size of the home. I wanted a home with a swimming pool, and lots of space and this home gave me both. What we appreciate about our home is how spacious it is. We enjoy coffee on the deck and patio out by the pool as well as by the living room fireplace. I also love the house because it’s built “soundly”. Our family is a large one and you don’t disturb others sleeping with the TV in the living room or working in the kitchen. You don’t have to be quiet in this house.

UPDATES TO 239 RIDGEWAY ROAD

We literally had to uncover the beauty in this residence, step by step. A labor of love and a million hours have been invested into the fabulous home you now see. We had a total kitchen remodel which included removing the wall between the dining room and old kitchen all the way down to the studs. We installed brand-new cabinets, countertops & appliances, added a walk-in pantry, and much more for absolute functionality and a luxury experience. The proof is in the details and we consciously decided on every single upgrade that would make our perfect home shine. Our house is located on a dead-end street in a family friendly neighborhood with awesome schools. We have great neighbors that watch out for each other. Some of the things we love about living in Catonsville is our access to parks, community swimming pools, and shopping in downtown Catonsville. The 4th of July parade is huge and only minutes away.

Some of our favorite restaurants in the area are Franco’s, Jennings Cafe, Black Kettle, Dimintri’s, Loafers, Catonsville Gourmet, Applebee’s and G.L. Shacks.

The grocery store we use is Giant located just two minutes from the house. Many more grocery stores are just minutes away.

We moved to Baltimore County because of the proximity to Baltimore City, Washington DC, and all airports. One of our favorite things is the proximity to all the sporting events that are less than an hour away like Ravens, Redskins, Orioles, Capitals and the Wizards. We are a quick drive to all the Nation’s most revered and treasured museums.

Catonsville itself has so many things to offer that are close to our home. The library, the Elementary and Middle school, the Trolley Trail and downtown Catonsville are all 5 minutes from the house. We are minutes from the freeway and Old Elliott City. Columbia Towne Center is a short drive away.
